WASHINGTON - Clyde C."Ki " Noll, 83, of Washington, Ill., died at 7:37 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, 2016, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Ill.

Born on Sept. 25, 1932, in Wesley City (Creve Coeur), Ill., to Henry Rudolph and Louisa Rebholz Noll, he married Lois E. Goodman on Sept. 11, 1955, in Creve Coeur, Ill. She survives.

Also surviving are three children, Scott Noll of Morton, Ill., Wendy (Tom) Ray of East Peoria, Ill., and Jenny (Scott) Waller of Washington, Ill.; one sister, Vivian Noll of Jonesboro, Ga.; three grandchildren, Whitney Leeper, Chelsea (Zachary) Mullins and Monica Ray; one great-granddaughter, Kamy Leeper; and a new great-granddaughter, Thea, soon to arrive.

Ki was preceded in death by two brothers, Bob and Hank; and infant twin granddaughters, Erica and Samantha Leeper.

He was a tool design supervisor at Caterpillar Tractor Co. for 40 years, retiring in 1990, and also worked part-time at J.H. Benedict in East Peoria, where he was a tool designer.

Ki was a member of Washington Presbyterian Church and a former member of Bethel Memorial Church in Creve Coeur. He was also a member of the Isaac Walton League, Ducks Unlimited and the National Rifle Association.

He was an avid woodworker and enjoyed making annual gifts for his family and friends at Christmas time. He also enjoyed gardening, cheering on the Chicago Cubs, hunting, fishing and making Mulligan Stew on an open campfire.

Ki had an adventurous spirit, which led him to annual ski trips in Galena, Ill., and to Grafton, Ill., where he enjoyed Ruebel Adventures, taking his first zip line trip at the age of 80. His greatest joy was the time spent together with his family.

A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2016, at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. The Rev. Rebecca Weltmann will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today, Jan. 25, 2016, at the funeral home. Burial will be private at Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
